Please tell us about your position at NedWorks.

As a Talent Manager, I am in touch with the clients, while also looking for candidates to fill vacancies. My goal as a Talent Manager is to identify the real needs of both my candidates and clients, and to fulfil them as best as possible.

How long have you been working at NedWorks?

I started working at NedWorks almost three months ago, with a lot of enthusiasm. Because I am surrounded by a very cool team, this enthusiasm has only grown. By being able to get coaching where needed, I keep on learning every day and have the opportunity to further develop my skills and expertise.

What do you like most about your job as a Talent Manager at NedWorks?

NedWorks is all about teamwork. Knowing that we're all pursuing that optimal result together gives me so much energy. As a Talent Manager, I am responsible for steering the process in the right direction. Anything from capturing the needs of the client to finding the right candidate. It gives me a huge boost when I see that both clients and candidates express their satisfaction about the results.

What's the secret to being a good Talent Manager? 

My goal is to build a long-term relationship with both the client and the candidate. How do I do this? By digging deep and trying to discover their real needs. It's only by actively listening and capturing their specific needs that I'm able to offer them professional as well as digital progress. This is the secret to how I excel in my position as a Talent Manager.

What convinced NedWorks to hire you as a Talent Manager?

The combination of my enthusiasm, my team spirit and the strong desire to be successful made me the perfect addition to a team of driven and motivated NedWorkers.

What convinced you to choose NedWorks? 

From the very first moment I felt inspired by the NedWorks story. Creating digital communities and having the space to become the best version of yourself every day are words I live by. 

What evolution do you see for yourself at NedWorks?

Every day, I still want to grow and learn, thus becoming more experienced in my current role as Talent Manager. In the long term, my dream would be to move up to the level of Senior Talent Manager.

What has been the nicest experience for you so far over the past few months?

The best thing about my job is seeing my clients and candidates smile. That's what drives me. When they are satisfied, so am I. The compliments I receive from clients and talents upon successfully completing a project motivate me to give the best version of myself every day.

Where do you get energy from when you're not at work? 

In my spare time I like to clear my head by working out. I go running and play tennis on a weekly basis. I also enjoy making time for family and friends. Furthermore, I'm always up for traveling. There's still so much on my bucket list!
