Freelancer becomes full member of the Cevora marketing team

“Cevora is a warm training organization with an open corporate culture. They contacted me, since they were looking for an experienced marketing expert. At first, it was meant as a temporary replacement for someone on maternity leave," explains Business Manager Ine.

“Cevora had outlined a detailed job description on paper. The organization was looking for an experienced marketing consultant who could set up campaigns to reach and engage the target audience. Cross-channel, of course. An all-rounder with a few years of experience. "

An in-depth introductory meeting

Ine spoke to Cevora to finetune the profile: “During that conversation, I asked many questions to get to the heart of the matter and discover what exactly Cevora needed. This helped me get a solid idea of which skills were crucial and which ones might not even be necessary. The company was looking for an all-round marketer with sufficient experience. Someone who could both produce and demonstrate results.”

“The more thorough the intake, the easier it is to find the right match. I discovered that Cevora has a very people-oriented culture. Something I take into account as well during my selection: hard skills are important, but a match between candidate and organization just as much. Cevora is a humane company that puts its employees first. It was therefore important for me to look for a freelancer with the same values as Cevora. "

Successful acquisition

Ine selected three freelancers for this position, two of whom went to Cevora for an interview. One of them was experienced freelancer Nicolas. Ine: “Nicolas is a true communication all-rounder with broad experience in PR, internal communication, drawing up communication strategies, and planning events. Even in terms of digital communication, Nicolas had the experience that Cevora was looking for. ”

After an initial interview, all parties agreed: this was a match. Nicolas started shortly following this conversation. "Nicolas immediately found his way within the organisation. He was very motivated from the get-go, feeling very enthusiastic about this new mission," says marketing manager Stephane Verbrugge.

Nicolas is also very satisfied with his new assignment: “Cevora is a sincere and warm organization where good cooperation between colleagues and departments plays a key role. I was immediately included in the team and invited to team activities. During the last company party, I even had the honor of performing as Saint Nicholas: being able to participate in the fun and unofficial moments is a great honor for a freelancer and strengthens the team spirit. ”

One and a half years after starting his assignment, Nicolas is still working at Cevora. Thanks to his dedication and the trust of the entire team he managed to accomplish a lot. His role in the marketing team evolved into a broader marketing and communication function.

Stephane, marketing manager at Cevora: “Moreover, with his personality, Nicolas inspires everyone with whom he works. Nicolas professionalized our events and improved the structure of our brand identity and positioning."

This year, training organization Cevora has been in existence for 30 years, a milestone that will be celebrated with various events throughout the year. Nicolas will steer the organization in the right direction. "This proves that Nicolas is very well integrated in our organization," concludes Stephane.
