  • Initiating and developing e-commerce projects across the department or in cooperation with selected markets to stimulate online sales growth?
  • developing solid e-commerce business insights and set-up convincing sales rationale for both international pure e-tailers as for retailer webshops?
  • mapping the current e-commerce business in different international areas and countries (landscape, presence, size, potential, ...)?
  • informing, training, facilitating & servicing key markets to execute the corporate e-commerce model (increasing distribution, building the digital shelf, and initiate e-commerce activation)?
  • facilitating the implementation of the e-commerce strategy by development of sales argumentation, communication and toolboxes for the key account managers and distributors?
  • developing solid e-commerce KPI’s along with an international tracking module to ensure outperforming e-commerce sales growth for the brand?
  • identifying and sharing international best practices on e-commerce?

you will play an important role within the overall trade marketing projects for a big FMCG player. This organization has a strong belief in the increasing importance of e-commerce in FMCG worldwide as a key market channel. They aim for outperforming the sales growth of their global brands through e-commerce. 

Have or are you ...
  • a Master in (international) business, marketing, or economics?
  • solid knowledge of the way of working of pure players and retailer webshops?
  • understanding of e-commerce KPI tracking & and are you able to translate it into corrective actions?
  • at least 3 to 5 years of experience in e-commerce? That's a must!
  • Experience in FMCG is a plus!
  • experience in a project on Asian e-commerce platform and a background in marketing, trade- or category management? That's also a plus!
  • a strong communicator and team player, able to motivate and convince distributors and other stakeholders? 
  • a structured and analytical commercial thinker with a sales-driven mindset? 
  • willing to roll up sleeves to get things done and not afraid to start from scratch?
  • open to international experience? 
  • fluent in English?
