For the fourth year in a row, NedWorks has made work of its Income Survey for Digital Professionals. This is to fill an important knowledge gap in wages, education, work experience, general satisfaction, and so on in the digital sector. In the spring of 2019, we already interviewed 395 profiles. Income Report 2019: As a digital professional, how does your rate or salary score?

Average Wage 

The average wage in the digital sector in 2019 stands at € 3149. This is an increase of 6% compared to last year. Have you just started your digital career? Then you can expect an average wage of € 2332. This is an increase of 4% compared to 2018. 

Salary Increase 

34% of respondents indicated that they will request a salary increase due to exceptional performance. 30% believe that a new role within the company implies an increase in wages. Nearly half of respondents will ask for a salary increase after 15 to 16 months.  

Top 3 digital specializations 

If you specialize in the domain of Product Owner, Project Management Web or Strategy, Vision, and Innovation, you probably earn the most compared to other specializations.
